The following steps below will guide you in shutting down your computer using command-line.

Step 1: Press Windows + R on your desktop to open the Run window, then type CMD into the box and press Ok to open the Command Prompt windows.

Step 2: Type “shutdown /s” and press the Enter key to shutdown your computer. Once you press the Enter key, a message will appear on the screen letting you know that your PC is about to shutdown.
